An Italian SME expert in the field of additive manufacturing processes, in response to the Covid-19 emergency, designed and prototyped a facial personal protection device. Prototypes were developed following instructions from healthcare professionals and then tested. In order to produce the devices, transparent, smooth PET, polyester, or similar material for the transparent visors and elastomeric hygienized band suppliers need to be found under a supplier agreement.
