Spanish researchers developed a highly efficient solar dryer for industrial materials and foods
A Spanish university has developed a solar dryer for drying foods, materials or other industrial products. It is subjected to air or another gas under pressure for the purpose of increasing energy efficiency by means of using a turbocompressor, being able to work in an open or closed circuit. It does not require supplying external energy, except that obtained from solar capture, and eliminates the use of liquids, making it easier to handle and operate.
